DESCRIPTION: EPW - Arnold & Charles Frodsham, London, 55mm, massive 18K gold OF original case bearing London hallmarks for 1861, "F M" marking in cameo for casemaker Frederick Samuel Matthews, white enamel SS dial, SW-pin-set, fully capped lever escapement, 20J, diamond endstone, gilt mvt, s#02901 with matching serial number within case serial and on dial. CONDITION: Mvt: GRO, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scattered small spots, some mild ultra-fine scratch striations; dial with hl near edge between 4 and 5; fine-plus hands, hour and minute are blue, minute with small spot of oxide near center, seconds-hand is plum colored; case shows light wear, no dents, ding on band at 5 and few small nicks elsewhere, small bow impressions to upper rear; tight gold bow is thinned at top, crown shows light wear; glass crystal with some short scratches.
